In accordance with Executive Order 14042 dated September 9, 2021, “Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors”, and ensuing guidance issued by the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force dated September 24, 2021, all federal contractors, except those who perform services exclusively outside the United States, are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 by their start date, unless a medical or religious exemption from the requirement applies and a reasonable accommodation is approved in accordance with applicable law. Employees are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after the completion of the primary series of an FDA-authorized Covid-19 vaccine. For some COVID-19 vaccines, you need 2 shots. The timing between shots depends on which one you receive.

  • Pfizer-BioNTech: 3 weeks (21 days)

  • Moderna: 4 weeks (28 days)

  • For the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) vaccine, you only need 1 shot.

Compliance with this vaccination mandate is considered a condition of employment. NGDS has no formal stance on this matter other than our intention of meeting all federal regulations and contractual requirements in order to continue providing services to our federal customers in support of their missions. Since this is a federal mandate, we are required to comply with it in order to continue providing federal contracting services.
